Dr. Moritz Köster is a professor at the School of Psychology, University of Regensburg, Germany. He aims to understand how we as humans, through development, adapt to our specific environment, as the basis for individual and culturally diverse developmental pathways. He does this by studying early social-cognitive development, neuro-cognitive learning mechanisms in infants and adults, as well as social and cultural influences on human development. He has published numerous journal articles on topics such as cross-cultural differences in infants' brain visual object and background processing, as well as the rhythmic visual stimulation in early brain development.
